I was always a one book woman but I’ve got so much books to read and the list keeps getting bigger! I now read one paperback and one electronic book at the same time so I get through them all!
several: nightstand book, kindle book for when i turn out the light, audio book for in the car, and the book that ends up getting carried around with me
I used to be able to juggle two or more at a time, but now at most I can handle one fiction and one nonfiction. I’m experimenting with an audio book right now. I have hearing issues, so audios have not played a huge part in my reading, except for books my kids listened to. Some of those were wonderful though..
I’m always amazed that people can read several books at once. I get so involved with a book that it would be hard for me to switch stories, but kudos to those of you who can handle multiple involvements. I do sometimes have an audio book going while reading another book, but that’s due to a long car trip in which I want to listen to a book.
One book at a time
Same
Me, too.

But are you really getting through them faster that way?
No! ??
One at a time.
Usually I have 2 going. One on audio and one that I’m reading.
I like that idea
And from different genres. I’m reading I See You by Clare Mackintosh and listening to The Beach Club by Elin Hilderbranad
How’s I See You going?
So far it’s pretty good.
Usually one at a time. Occasionally 2
I normally have 3 going at once. I keep one in my car, one for baths, and one in my living room for downtime
Usually two.
One at a time. I don’t want the characters to get jealous ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Two, at times three.
1 book, a short story a night & an audiobook in the car.
I read one book at a time. I will listen to an audio book while reading a different book, but that’s it.
That’s me, too.

@Jenny, you are the ultimate multi-tasker! All those books, three kids, a job, and everything else you do.
Multiple books on the go at the one time
I have 3 going now but I used to just read one at a time.

I like the one fiction and one nonfiction combination, @Vicki. I can do that, too.
As long as the nonfiction isn’t too deep..it really all depends, doesn’t it? LOL
Several
At least 2 at a time
One
Almost always!
Usually 1 fiction, 1 audiobook and 1 or 2 nonfiction

Several at once. Sometimes I tend to bite off more than I can chew, especially when reading big fantasy tomes!
One at a time. Don’t want to get confused. ?
Several, the uou can pick the book for the mood you’re in
One at a time.
Just one.
One at a time
2 at a time. One e book and one paper book.
Up to three on the go. A ‘water closet’ book, one I will read on lunch break and one I will read in bed
My mom has a book basket in her water closet.
