I love them all with the exception of spills/stains or broken spines. If they’re old and taken care of, that’s wonderful because they have a history.

If I don’t plan on keeping the book then it doesn’t matter to me. Now books I plan on keeping that are by my fav authors, then new. But in the end it really doesn’t matter to me.

Worn! Then I don’t feel like I need to be so careful. Besides, wrinkles on books (and me!!!) mean love and a life well lived!!

I just got a lot of books at Changing Hands, they sell used books that are good quality and for sooo cheap. They also have new books. So I don’t really mind either

My favorite is a $1 non-fiction book find in a thrift store that is well read with underlinings and marginalia; a well read book is worth it´s weight in gold.
