I read “Little Altars Everywhere” first. Totally different experience from reading in the other order.

I’m sure that is true; may re-read them in your order.

@Patricia I read them in publication order when they were first released. Having done that, I had less sympathy for the Ya-Ya Sisterhood than others did.

Have you read the others in the series: Little Altars Everywhere and Ya-Yasin Bloom?

I’ve read Little Altars Everywhere, will look for the Ya-Yasin Bloom. Listened to the audio of Ya-Ya Sisterhood after reading the book and enjoyed that too.

I have 7 Friends from college (we graduated in the late 70s) who call ourselves the Ya Yas. We’ve been through a LOT together and cherish the times we are all able to get together.
Inspired by the book!

I liked it, and enjoyed listening to it on audible. It wasn’t my favorite by her, but sweet and worth the hours of my time.
