COMEDY…discuss books and authors….
Louise review humor and comedy
Nick Spalding is hilarious!
Husband looking for comedy but not aimed at woman? Lots of the genre seems to be aimed at female readers?
Mike Gayle – I love all of his?
Anything by Jonas Jonasson – Hitman Anders, Hundred year old man, girl who saved the king of Sweden – all made my husband lol!
Guy Bellamy. Increasingly difficult to find, particularly his older stuff, but definitely worth it.
Keris Stainton’s rom coms make me laugh out loud. Sassy characters and feel good stories.
Sophie Kinsella…some lol moments in The Undomesticated Goddess
Oh yes love her!
Marianne Keyes? Lucy Sullivan is getting married!
I loved ‘A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian by Marina Lewycka. Its’ a terrible title but a very funny book. about a woman whose 84 years old dad falls in love with a 34 year old woman from the Ukarain. Also I love Bill Bryson and PGWoodhouse.
I once read a book called ‘only strange people going to church’ I can’t remember the author but it had me in stitches 😂
Marianne keyes always makes me laugh.
‘A Stranger Here Myself’ by Ian Pattison – Hilarious account of the life of fictional character Rab C, Nesbitt. 😂
Marian keyes, undoubtedly.
Reading sue Townsend the woman who went to bed for a year have laughed out loud many times 😂
Agonising and Why Mummy drinks were my faves this year x
