What means dystopian

0
Reply
Shivi

Utopia means like an oasis/heaven type place where everything is good/perfect, dystopia is the opposite so an end of the world type scenario where everything is bad/dangerous/dark- ie. zombie apocalypse

Assia

Thank you @Shivi ???

1
SymoneQuestion author

The books were amazing honestly, I them in a month with school and other stuff going on. The movies don’t introduce Uriah until about the second movie? And I personally feel like he had a key part in helping Tris cope with new surroundings as someone who was used to being in that factor.

1
Kondwani

opposite of utopia!!!..a bad place or society!!with undesirable living conditions

I tried to read through all the comments so I don’t repeat and a lot of GREAT ones were mentioned. I don’t think I saw The Chemical Garden series by Lauren DeStefano and it was fantastic.
I also don’t remember seeing Uglies by Scott Westerfeld.
The Dwellers and the Slip series by David Estes.
Books of Ender series by Jeanne DuPrau.
