Can anyone here recommend any good Jewish books? They don’t have to be Holocaust related and I particularly love Jewish humour. :)

Sumaira – glad someone else loves Woody Allen’s Complete Prose. One of my favourite books of all time and totally my sense of humour. So ridiculously stupid and funny. I was crying with laughter all the way through it. Only downside is that it is not available on Kindle.

To Next Year In Jerusalem by David Marcus was a good read. It was an old hardback that I picked up from the book table at the local synagogue on a Heritage Open Weekend a few years ago.

I read a lovely family saga years ago by Maisie Mosco about a family who came from Russia to England. Touching and beautiful. I think it was a trilogy and the first was called Almonds and Raisins

Holocaust and Resistance among Sefardic population, seen through the eyes of a female Jewish Resistant. I’ve read it several times. It includes poetry she wrote, and is quite different from the typical Holocaust setting. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13697223-an-ode-to-salonika

Suddently, A Knock on the Door – Etgar Keret. This is a book of short stories, and they are really short, but awesome. He has other books as well. I’m not usually one for short stories, but his are fantastic. Edeet Ravel – The Cat. Not a long book, but quite good.
