Sumaira – glad someone else loves Woody Allen’s Complete Prose. One of my favourite books of all time and totally my sense of humour. So ridiculously stupid and funny. I was crying with laughter all the way through it. Only downside is that it is not available on Kindle.

To Next Year In Jerusalem by David Marcus was a good read. It was an old hardback that I picked up from the book table at the local synagogue on a Heritage Open Weekend a few years ago.
I read a lovely family saga years ago by Maisie Mosco about a family who came from Russia to England. Touching and beautiful. I think it was a trilogy and the first was called Almonds and Raisins

One of my favorite Jewishly themed novels is also one of my favorite novels period…. “All Other Nights” by Dara Horn. Also by the same author “The World to Come ” is great
I really enjoyed Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Safron Foer. Very different – you’ll want to read about it before jumping in!
Suddently, A Knock on the Door – Etgar Keret. This is a book of short stories, and they are really short, but awesome. He has other books as well. I’m not usually one for short stories, but his are fantastic. Edeet Ravel – The Cat. Not a long book, but quite good.
