My book club just read Desolution Mountain and The Nightingale is next. I’m reading Where The Crawdads Sing. All three of these are great and are staying with me long after finishing.!!
I’m currently reading an autobiography, it’s set near where I live and I love that I can ‘see’ the places in my mind. It’s an interesting read, although the story starts before my time I can see it goes to present day which again I love. Jimmy Lee – Broken Childhood, Mended Dreams, it’s on Amazon and also kindle which is perfect for me. Worth a look!
Next Year in Havannah was a great book club read. We also read The Dry and that was a read-in-a-day kind of book.

A lot of book club members have enjoyed The Life that We Bury & The Shadows We Hide by Allen Eskens. Here’s a link to a conversation I had with him about both books: http://markcombsauthor.com/weekly-podcasts/public-display-of-imagination-podcast/allen-eskens-the-shadows-we-hide/
I also really enjoyed talking with A.F. Brady about her psychological thrillers, if that’s more to your book club liking. Here’s a link to that conversation: http://markcombsauthor.com/weekly-podcasts/public-display-of-imagination-podcast/a-f-brady-once-a-liar/
