I can’t get it to work right ? It put all my books in “my books” but didn’t count them toward my reading challenge for the year so I had to go back thru them all. Likely a user error. Can’t find where it lists how many pages & words read for the year either. ??♀️
I just bought a new journal too. I like the idea of a spreadsheet or whatever, but I do like writing them down! And I list Books I want to read and keep list of books in series so I know where I am!
LibraryThing
Why? GoodReads is great!
There used to be shelfari. I actually really liked that one. But Goodreads won out. So I just go with it.

@Bethany you have to “edit” your review and put the date that you finished the book – then it will be included in your reading challenge
thank you!! My way was to mark as reading then go back In and change to finished. Takes forever with limited reception. (I live in the sticks)
@Bethany for reading challenge, go to My Books and then stats. It’ll give you all your information.
@Jen website? I don’t see it on the app.
@Bethany, yes. Website. I wish they’d put that in the app!
Some of us like to hinder google’s world domination 🙂
@Jay lol
Thank you! I was also perplexed why my books weren’t counted toward my challenge.

I do things the simple way. I have an Excel spreadsheet with title, author, and date complete. Easy peasy ?
I’ve been using a software program database called Readerware that I’ve had since the 1990s . . . . I love it.
Is Shelfari still around? Used to really like them
I just made my own spreadsheet.
Little black notebook & pen … I used to keep a list on my blog too, but I am not blogging at this time.
Readfeed is a decent one also, but I get it’s in beta
Pen and paper?

Collectorz software, synced to cloud so I can check it online when at stores
Litsy is good if you want to connect with a community while keeping track of your reads.
