A lovely, lovely story; I always cry. It was made into a movie and shown on tv in the late 1970’s , early 80’s but I read that Mr Gallico never wanted it to be available on vhs/dvd. You might be able to watch it on youtube though. The movie is very very good too and faithful to the book.

The Snow Goose! I had forgotten this book. I loved it and the dramatized version I had on LP starring Herbert Marshall.
