I like that it gives perspective from the dogs side of the story. I thought that was pretty cool

Incredible. But just bone chilling. I mean, who hasn’t experimented a little with that sort of thing? Then you read it and look back to realize how easy it could happen. *shudder*

It is a harrowing read. Some parts were best “hinted”, and left for the imagination.

Omg. I read it as a teenager and it made me kind of not like Stephen King (and I love Stephen King most of the time). Some parts of it are very clearly a man writing things trying to think like a woman. The thing that stuck with me was he called a pad a c*&t diaper. I finished the book but felt really uncomfortable the whole time.
