I really enjoyed it, got me thinking and also made me see my relationships in a different light. I could see it happening which is such a sad thing!
I did see lots of negative reviews on here (or the old page) but goes to show that everyone’s perspective is different.

It’s outrageously creative! I wished it had been fleshed out a little more… I wanted more backstory, I guess. It felt a bit like an outline of a potentially great book. 😉 Still worth reading!

@Susan agreed! I really liked the idea but thought it couldve been better played out

So much potential wasted. Super intriguing concept but definitely got rushed at the end

@Amanda yeah! I was so let down by that.

I think it would have made a fantastic YA book

I thought there were serious pacing issues but enjoyed it well enough, there was a lot to think about.

I didn’t care for it, but many of my students who’ve read it LOVED it.

I thought that the overall premise was great and I could really believe a world in which that could happen. But for me, it went down hill when the story reached the science/lab part, I just considered it to be unrealistic and unfeasible in such a short time.

I’m listening to it now and it pisses me off so I’d say it’s good lol

If you like books where the climax is like a half written paragraph that the main character (and in turn us the reader) are not involved in …. Then sure! Lol

I’m reading it now! It’s a little slow in parts, but I like it. I wish there was a little more action going on.

The ending was a HUGE disappointment – so rushed. It just fell flat. But up until then I enjoyed it well enough.

Really let down by it…I was expecting something subtle and scary to rival Handmaid’s Tale, but it was really lazy and it turns into a race-against-time thriller with a bond style villain. I felt like the author didn’t know how to deal with the concept in an effective way.

I read it and liked it, but felt like I wanted more. I think she’s planning on coming out with a sequel book.
