Hamlet has so many gems. But his comedies are wonderful. Much ado about Nothing is great. Loves labor Lost is a close 2nd. And the only time one of his characters appears twice – Falstaff in The Merry Wives of Windsor

I liked the histories too, Henry v and Julius Caesar were among my favourite histories

I taught Shakespeare. The one my students preferred was Midsummer, but my fave is Hamlet.

Othello ?
And I find Hamlet to be so so rich. An incredible tapestry of both inner and outer conflicts. A serious and deep treatise on the human condition and how a soul can be multi-dimensional.

I love David Foster Wallace’s Infinite Jest based on the quote in Hamlet and I always loved Ophelia. Hamlet really is so rich.
