Henry V, Much Ado About Nothing, The Merchant of Venice
Henry v is one of my favourite histories
Taming of the Shrew, Midsummer night’s dream , the tempest
MacBeth, Othello, Richard III and Romeo & Juliet
Hamlet. It moves me every year.
I forgot Hamlet! ?
I guess I like the tragedies ⚰️??
Probably Macbeth, but I have read only 4 of his works.
Get reading!!!
I will.
I also love Taming of the Shrew, Much Ado about Nothing, and As You Like It.
All three are great ?
Midsummer Nights Dream and Much Ado About Nothing.
Hamlet has so many gems. But his comedies are wonderful. Much ado about Nothing is great. Loves labor Lost is a close 2nd. And the only time one of his characters appears twice – Falstaff in The Merry Wives of Windsor
Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet,
As You Like It, Midsummer Night’s Dream
MacBeth, Hamlet, Richard III and Othello. I like the histories and tragedies by far the best.
I liked the histories too, Henry v and Julius Caesar were among my favourite histories
I taught Shakespeare. The one my students preferred was Midsummer, but my fave is Hamlet.
His sonnets and Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet!
Macbeth, Julius Ceasar, Othello
I love Shakespeare!! My favorites are Othello and Hamlet ? I also really like a midsummers night dream
Othello ?
And I find Hamlet to be so so rich. An incredible tapestry of both inner and outer conflicts. A serious and deep treatise on the human condition and how a soul can be multi-dimensional.
I love David Foster Wallace’s Infinite Jest based on the quote in Hamlet and I always loved Ophelia. Hamlet really is so rich.
The sonnets ?
Twelfth Night is my favorite by far!
Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, Henry V, so many!
The st crispins day speech in Henry v is sooo good ?
Amazing. I have watched the YouTube video of it so many times that I know it by heart!
