My favorite genre! Most recently I’ve read Baby Teeth by Zoje Stage, Pretty Ugly Lies by Pamela Crane, Jar of Hearts by Jennifer Hillier, Good Me Bad Me by Ali Land, After Anna by Lisa Scottoline and Behind Her Eyes by Sarah Pinborough. There’s more but I can’t think of them now!
@Letitia I really like “A Dark-adapted Eye”. Then I read “Sight For Sore Eyes” which was ok (for the most part the characters were unlikable) so, yeah, she’s kind of hit and miss.
Susan Sloan’s book, An Isolated Incident, is a great book. I would put it in the suspense category but it stand out as one of the better books I have ever read. In fact I think I will read it again.?
i like the books by sebastian fitzek very much. thrilling plots with a huge psycological depth….
Have you read ‘Into the darkest corner’ by E Haynes? Read it a few years back and haven’t come across a better psych thriller since.
Loving this one so far! Thanks for the suggestion

@Diane youre welcome! I just finished Behind Closed Doors a couple weeks ago and loved it! 🙂
Behind Closed Doors was a little too gruesome for me. I liked Breakdown better.
Anything by Ruth Rendell (she also writes as Barbara Vine).
Except for “The Girl Next Door”. Published posthumously it’s no good.
@Letitia Good to know. I don’t like it when I read a bad book by a good writer.
It’s the only thing I’ve read by her. It was one of the ladies picks in Bookclub and even she was “what the heck?”. LOL.
@Letitia I really like “A Dark-adapted Eye”. Then I read “Sight For Sore Eyes” which was ok (for the most part the characters were unlikable) so, yeah, she’s kind of hit and miss.
The Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager was phenomenal. Final Girls by Sager was also good but I thought Last Time was better.
Unravel by Calia Read!
The Ghost Writer!
Before I Go to Sleep
Nicci French, Mo Hayder, Ruth Rendell ( the Wexford ones are mysteries, not psych thrillers, but good)
