Any really good psychological thrillers out there?Any really good psychological thrillers out there? Tricia #recommend #psychology #thriller
i like the books by sebastian fitzek very much. thrilling plots with a huge psycological depth….
Have you read ‘Into the darkest corner’ by E Haynes? Read it a few years back and haven’t come across a better psych thriller since.
Loving this one so far! Thanks for the suggestion
Psychological thrillers are my go to genre!! Here’s what I’ve read in the last year.
Loved all of those!
I’m currently reading into the water and I’m loving it ! ??
All of those were awesome!!
I’ve read all those too! They are good!
Intensity by Dean Koontz.
All the Missing Girls, Along Came a Spider, Gone Girl, I See You, Shutter Island
Patricia Cornwell and Stuart MacBride have such a great series.
My favorite genre! Most recently I’ve read Baby Teeth by Zoje Stage, Pretty Ugly Lies by Pamela Crane, Jar of Hearts by Jennifer Hillier, Good Me Bad Me by Ali Land, After Anna by Lisa Scottoline and Behind Her Eyes by Sarah Pinborough. There’s more but I can’t think of them now!
Second Behind Her Eyes – I couldn’t put it down.
Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager and Jar of Hearts by Jennifer Hillier
Behind closed doors ,The breakdown -both by B A Paris.very good
I juts finished “Something In the water” by Catherine Steadman and thought it was really good.
The girl with the dragon tattoo
Greg Iles has some awesome psychological thrillers…try “Sleep No More” “Third Degree” or “Mortal Fear”
Bad Games by Jeff Menapace
Or Wildlife by Jeff Menapace
the Walter syndrome
The woman in the window
The Wife Between Us
Anything by Jeffery Deaver.
The Breakdown by Paris (author’s last name, I can’t think of the first name)
B.A. Paris. 🙂
Thanks, @Bonnie. I knew there were some initials, but couldn’t think what they were 🙂
@Diane youre welcome! I just finished Behind Closed Doors a couple weeks ago and loved it! 🙂
Behind Closed Doors was a little too gruesome for me. I liked Breakdown better.
Anything by Ruth Rendell (she also writes as Barbara Vine).
Except for “The Girl Next Door”. Published posthumously it’s no good.
@Letitia Good to know. I don’t like it when I read a bad book by a good writer.
It’s the only thing I’ve read by her. It was one of the ladies picks in Bookclub and even she was “what the heck?”. LOL.
@Letitia I really like “A Dark-adapted Eye”. Then I read “Sight For Sore Eyes” which was ok (for the most part the characters were unlikable) so, yeah, she’s kind of hit and miss.
The Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager was phenomenal. Final Girls by Sager was also good but I thought Last Time was better.
Unravel by Calia Read!
The Ghost Writer!
Before I Go to Sleep
Nicci French, Mo Hayder, Ruth Rendell ( the Wexford ones are mysteries, not psych thrillers, but good)
The Girl Before
Primal Fear by William Diehl
Jonathan Kellermans novels are great!
And The Trees Crept in
Anything by Karin Slaughter.
Try Michael Robotham’s novels.
I really enjoyed the portrait of a killer
Susan Sloan’s book, An Isolated Incident, is a great book. I would put it in the suspense category but it stand out as one of the better books I have ever read. In fact I think I will read it again.?
Just checked these out. Any thoughts on order of reading?
I loved The Breakdown!
