Yes! There is a free library box in the neighborhood next to my work, so I often drop off there.

I used to sell and buy there, then I think they started charging a membership? Also shipping charges are so high.

@Kiara , thrift stores, garage sales, library sales, etc. I seldom buy full price books. Also go to library or ebooks on sale.

I sometimes leave them in shopping centre sitting areas with a post -it note on the cover.

Exactly what i do. A busboy who picked up a bookdropped Alice Walker book was ecstatic.
