In Warhorse, a horse is the main character and it’s written from his perspective which was unique. Great book and I read it because the movie, which I saw first, was very good.

The wonderful Warriors (who happen to be mice), in the great series of many books by Brian Jacques, beginning with the original book, “Redwall”, (1986). (All of the wonderful characters were animals, and I truly enjoyed all of them.)
