Neither….but I guess the movie. I did that with the movie Brooklyn, which I loved!

I don’t like either but I know books are always better than the movie. So if I saw the movie and it peaked my interest I would read the book after.

I’d rather see the movie. I will not read the book if someone actually tells me the end

Movie. Other than Lord of the Rings, all movies based on books have been such a disappointment that I’ve already decided not to read a book before a movie so it doesn’t ruin it for me.

See the movie as movies are often only somewhat the same as the book. However I would not like either. I always read the book first.

See the movie I guess. I had someone spoil the end of movie once (some bizarre woman in the popcorn line) and I’ve never forgot how awful that felt.

See the movie. When my older kids were teens, we ordered multiple copies of the Harry Potter books as they came out..swearing one another to secrecy..WOE unto anyone who revealed ANYthing before we all had a chance to finish. This was me, hubby, and oldest 6 kids. THEN we had so much fun critiquing each book…same with the movies. Then we would compare the book to the film…it was great.

Neither of these scenarios would bother me in the least.

See the movie first… Nothing annoys me more then spoiling the end of something. At least with seeing the movie first, it would help pronouncing names (like I do most of the time) or visualizing a character lol

See the movie. I actually prefer to see the movie before reading the book anyway.

See the movie. I hate spoilers. With a movie, I can pretend it’s different!
