They are cute reads that I can share with my teenage daughter. If you. If you want something a little more ‘grown up’ I highly suggest Melinda Leigh.

This is mine! I’m reading it now. Slow going, but very addictive. The author is also a local one near me.

The Sound of Gravel, and the “Witch” books by Adele Abbott. But you have to start with the first book in the series, as one book picks up from the last book. They are inexpensive and really fun and fast to read.

Is vampire academy for a younger reader? Is it similar to the Twilight series?

yes. It is the only book that I could find that came anywhere near as good as Twilight.

I just finished The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell. It was wonderful!

0
Melanie

Is it a Christian book?

0
Pam

There’s a lot of Catholic influence in it, but I wouldn’t say it’s really about religion. Sorry if that’s a little too vague, but since I’m not a religious person, I was looking at other aspects and found a message that showed that there are other important things to have faith in.

It was free on Amazon first reads so I downloaded it, not even expecting to read it. I don’t even usually read on Kindle. But I was somewhere and I forgot my book so I started this on the Kindle app on my phone, and it surprised me. That is definitely one of my favorite reads this year.
