Fantastic concept. Writing is there. Characters are well developed. I still have a little storyline issues, but I’m glad I read it. I wish she would write a sequel following Ruby.

I liked it and found the premise interesting. The last third or so of the book fell short for me. I felt the author attempted to wring emotion from family relationships that hadn’t been well developed.

Liked it a lot. Story of the youngest son was by far my favorite. Story of the other son seemed like a real stretch

Great premise. My book club read it last month and I hosted with a food to represent each character. The youngest son was “pigs in a blanket “

Loved the premise, but it fell short of my expectations. First two stories were ok, last two, not so much.

I loved the book and I thought the sisters story that was the last was the saddest one of all. Interesting premise.

Enjoyed the 2 younger siblings’ stories the best. I agree that the eldest sister’s was heartbreaking in more than one way.

I really liked this book, and it really makes you stop and pause to think about life and circumstances people encounter.
