I’ll second that! Already I didn’t get upset watching the film. I immediately turned to my daughter and said “just read the book! ” as she say there crying. The book was SO much better ?
I blurted out loud in a packed cinema “That wasn’t supposed to happen”

Got to be Fingersmith by Sarah Waters. There are a few plot twists that you don’t see coming, but the main one absolutely blows you away!!! Plus it’s a brilliant book in every way, just as a bonus 🙂
