I bought it but haven’t read it, I have heard so much good about it and only a few say it wasn’t for them. Food going considering how many readers/clubs I am in.

I am giving serious thought to buying the previous books but I am told we can read this as a standalone xxx

It’s FANTASTIC! I read it as a standalone and it worked perfectly for me, although I did go out and purchase the 3 previous Eddie Flynn books afterwards ?

It took a bit to get into for me but once the story got going I loved it. Kept the suspense going right till the end. I’ve never read the previous books but it didn’t affect this one. Will def be getting the other books now though

Thought I would read it as a series as I love getting to know a character. Read ‘The Defence’ in two sittings as I immediately got into it and couldn’t put it down. Love Eddie Flynn. Can totally see it as a movie! I have not read such a fantastic book in ages. Just started the second one as hubby is watching the football! I would recommend reading them in order – just because they are so good!

Have read a lot of books recently that have been massively hyped up and talked about everywhere. Some of them have been very disappointing. Not thirteen. It’s incredible. Possibly one of the best books I have read this year. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely buying the first 3. Buy it. You won’t be disappointed !

I haven’t read the rest of the series but decided to give this a go as I’d heard so many good things about it. Glad I did as I really enjoyed it!

I loved it – so much so that I instantly bought the rest in the series and am currently reading it from the start (Thirteen is book four in a series, but it most definitely works as a standalone).

Finished Thirteen , and I found it really poor. The more pages I turned and the more chapters I got through, I was waiting for something brilliant to happen and make me grip the book with venom. Sadly it didn’t happen for me.
