Some of my favorite writers have been Dr. Seuss, Roald Dahl, EA Poe, Robert E. Howard, Thomas Burnett Swann, Emily Bronte, among others, have all been favorites of mine at points along my timeline.
The first ones I really fell in love with were the Nancy Drew Mysteries By Carolyn Keene. Wonderful adventures for a girl in fourth grade stuck in a hospital bed for a few weeks.
Leo Tolstoy … One of the first books I owned was a collection of short stories written by him.
But, in due course, I discovered Charles Dickens whose works became the very spirit of my reading. ?
Definitely Enid Blyton … Right uptil middle school …. To be honest i still love reading her books
