Who is reading more than one book at the moment?Who is reading more than one book at the moment? Karen #questionnaire
Goodreads has emailed me three times this week reminding to finish one of the 7 books I’ve started but now I’m too far deep in this hole and I probably won’t finish any of them so there
@McKenna I didn’t even know they did that….
I think you have to opt into it. And my email is so full of spam anyway that I just ??♀️
I feel your pain @McKenna!!
I’m reading three
All the time 🙂
Reading Midsummer’s Bottom; Witches Abroad; The Dark Ages (Fables); Saga vol #6…and listening to Gilded Wolves
Me! I have two audiobooks going and I’m reading one.
I normally have 3…one on each reading format, so I am never without a book. These are my current reads: The Coldest Winter – audiobook; Say Nothing – ebook; and Americanah – book. All fantastic so far!
Ugh im outta control. According to goodreads, 5 reading. And just bought 20 at goodwill.HELP!
Me I have an ebook I’m finishing and 2 physical books
I’m always reading at least 3, tbh XD
I often have a longer (usually non fiction) book on the go, as well as a novel. At the moment it’s a Beatles biography and Andrea Levy’s Small Island.
Me! It seems to occur even when I try to avoid it haha.
I had to make a check on my reading list spreadsheet so that the number of books read simultaneously turns red when it gets too high ?
I had this conversation with a friend once:
BTW, I went down below 20 books read simultaneously.
More’s not possible?
Always reading 2-3 at a time. ?
I’m going to be up to three by the end of the weekend.. lol There is the book I read while doing laundry, the book I am reading for book club, and then there is the book I am reading all for me.. lol
I read one and listen to another one.
Usually 3-5: fiction, nonfiction, audio and a chapter book with the kids.
4 for pleasure and 3 others (grad school!)
I always have an audiobook, an ebook and physical on the go at the same time.
I can’t read more than one book at once, if I start a book I put all my focus on it until it’s finished ?
2 books (audiobook + physical book)
I was looking for a book series for my 10 year old son to try after the Weirder School books by Dan Gutman. We are trying the Warrior series by Erin Hunter about 4 clans of wild cats. I am in love, the story just takes off and I’ve made it to book number 2 so far. I am also reading Business Insurance Needs for my job, and 200 Best Jobs for Introverts, all actively. I have A Casual Vacancy on my night stand started too!
Me!! I keep changing my mind. I am a major mood reader. ?
@Angela i think i am the same … I started Nora Roberts Year One but want to read a murder mystery and I have a paranormal murder mystery started as well …
@Karen yes! Now I have started like 3 books and I want to read them all but at the same time can’t fully into any of them.
I always read more than one tbh, usually a physical book, an eBook from NetGalley and an audio book.
Me ? I’m reading 5 !!!
I have three actively going right now!
I probably will be as of tonight… A book I’ve been waiting for for about a month just came in the mail, but I’m also already in the beginning/middle of a long but so far great book!
Me. I am reading two, but I don’t like to. One is on loan from the library so I have a deadline to finish it. I rarely do this, but if they are different genres I occasionally will. For instance, a biography and a novel.
I’m always reading more than one book at a time.
Me. I’m reading lots and lots and more on Kindle. I’m working through a pile, reading about fifty pages then going to the next one.
Me. Always ?
I always listen to an audiobook and then physically read one too at the same time.
Always, my ADHD doesn’t allow for that one book at a time lyfe
Here, can’t help myself.
I usually read 3 at once. So many good ones.
Always! I usually read three or four at a time…???
Always read at least three, sometimes four
Meeee 😀 unless the book is extremely good and unputdownable that is. Usually I read one novel and one short stories compilation…
I do that all the time.
Nine at 1time
I always read 3 at a time. 1 audio, 1 ebook and 1 paperback. Helps me stay interested, focused and goal orientated.
@Jo me too!
I do this too
Me too. Still working on The Children’s Book (historical/literary) and Slasher Girls and Monster Boys (horror/short stories).
Gone with the Wind, The Black Echo, and Code Name : Lise
2-3 ? It makes faster reading
One hand held and one audiobook!
Well there’s like 3 on my currently reading shelf on Goodreads but I’ve also started listening to some too… I really have no idea. Probably 10+. LOL
??♀️ I’m reading The Little Paris Bookshop, The Guernsey and Literary Potato Peel Society, and A Court of Wings and Ruin.
Yeah ive got 4 no 5 going wow
Im a lil bit surprised
Me ?♀️ I’m reading Lucinda Riley’s Seven Sisters series as well as Stephanie Hudson’s Afterlife series ?
How else do you read?
Always at least two. A «real» book (usually French), and a Kindle book (English). Reading one in each language makes it a bit easier not to get confused between the two (but not always) ?
Of course me!! In managing 7 subjects
Yep. Currently in the middle of four books.
Same here :-s
Currently reading 4…. A book to my kid….Indian in the cupboard….a audiobooks…awakened…….little women….and not her daughter
That’s the only way to do it. I never read more than around 3 books at a time.
Reading 4 atm ?
Always do… two and an audio,
I am currently reading 2
I teach English, so I’m always reading at least 3 things at once.
At the moment, I‘m reading what Im typing in this reply.
@Ted – lol
I usually read three or four.
@Kathleen me too…
I was but just finished one so i am currently back to only one. Although, i may start a second book.
I am reading four….
Reading 10 ? Though only three actively.
One physical book and one audio book
One regular book, one phone audio book, one cd audio book, one e book, and one reference book ???

Me; four at the moment
@Karin which ones??
@Victoria Listening to Circe, reading Once Upon A River at school, 12 Rules for Life, and Between Shades Of Gray. All really good!
How is Once Upon A River??
@Victoria I’m having a hard time getting into it, as it’s not my typical genre, but it’s beautifully written!
@Karin okay! If it’s the one I’m thinking of, it has a beautiful cover! What genre is it?
