I loved it. Honestly it’s one of my favorites.
I thought it was told in an interesting way; it was a unique way of doing a more typical storyline. With that said, I only gave it 3 stars when I was done with it.
I loved it. Cried my eyes out, but I loved it.
I read it. I didn’t like it. I wish I would’ve DNF.
I haven’t read it, but I was bummed to learn that there were no actual octopi involved.
Like the guy acting like his dog literally speaks to him is just weird for me….I dunno. The story itself is interesting so far but it’s the way of telling it I’m not sure I care for.

I couldn’t get through it, the way the main character spoke of/to Lily was just odd. I’ve never owned a dog though, so I’m not sure if a lot of dog owners are actually like this ??♀️
It’s an excellent book. It goes into a kinda magical weird place, but go with with it. It’s worth it in the end.

@Angela It was an outstanding audiobook, perhaps try that? The voice acting is incredible.

Angela Ballard, In that case, it may just not be the book for you. If I’m an hour into an audiobook and really not liking it I DNF.
I read it but I was not a fan
I thought it was too stupid to finish it. We read it for our book club and I just couldn’t get into it.
