Me! ? Two of them, consisting of four people each. One close friends, one work colleges. We meet every 4-6 weeks at one of our houses, eat, drink prosecco and discuss the book.
we used to have quite a few book clubs here in the UK, the sort that when you joined you could buy 6 or more books for 1p. They seem to have disappeared unless anyone knows different….
The Brenda Novak Book Club is awesome. Her and her daughter are completely involved. They do a live video once a month on the book that was read. The author that wrote the book that month is with her during that during that video. Everyone is so nice there. There are giveaways, book buddies and much more.
My local libraries have book clubs. I go to both the fiction & non-fiction clubs at the branch closest to me. Everyone in tge group suggests books in the beginning of the year, the leader checks availability & then puts all readily available suggestions up for a vote & that’s how what we read is decided. Had a friends bookclub that went strong for 4 years but lots of members moved away so it fell apart. Glad to have found the library clubs!
? I thought you meant mail order book-of-the-month type clubs. Yes to the other with former coworkers. I was laid off this year from my job but still meet with them every month or two for dinner and to discuss the book for 5 minutes. lol ?

I’ve been in several, then decided I wanted to read my own books, which I haven’t read. Time is moving on, I’m afraid?

I am in three (two fell to the wayside). Barnes and Noble has a nationwide book club that went from bi-monthly to monthly.
