I saw the movie and it took me 3 times to actually get all the way through it so I didn’t even try for the book

The book is nothing like the movie. I was disappointed because I watched the movie first.

These are the reasons why I always try to read the book first. I watched the notebook after I read the book and was extremely unhappy with the movie.

I have a hard time getting into Sparks’ books. I find them incredibly cliche and corny, but I enjoy some of the movies. So I usually watch the movies first when it comes to him.

I’m backwards then. His are the ones I make sure to read the books for first. I’ve liked most of them, but I’ve only read one more than once.

I enjoyed the book. Wasn’t my absolute favorite of Nicholas Sparks but probably top 3. The movie was okay, but I didn’t like a few things they changed from the book -_- worth a watch though
