@Samantha i think his work took place before the presentation, i suppose. The only reason Langon was involved is because of what happened at the thing.
The characters weren’t fleshed out enough and too long. The suspense rose and then took a nose dive. The “presentation” was good and concepts are realistic.
Started out okay, then got to scientific for me. Not one of his best. I’ve read all his others, the “DaVinci Code” and “Angels and Demons” are my fav. It seems the further he gets into writting the more deep and science-filled he gets. Way over my head…
Mahmood Mikdadi I just love the religion part like in the DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons, but it’s the science part I just can’t wrap my head around! LOL…
If you like Dan Brown’s other novels, you will like it. It follows the same format as the others. I enjoyed it, the ending leaves you with some views to think about.
It was a very different Robert Langdon book. I didn’t feel like there was a lot of symbology for him to work out which is something I’ve really lived about the last few books. And to be honest I pretty much knew the outcome within the first few chapters.
I loved it.
What did you love about it @Nathalie?
@Tania how the story was build up. Maybe i am the only one, but i didn’t see the ending coming. It’s not his best novel but i quite enjoyed it.
It did bring up some food for thought.
plus, it isn’t all that unrealistic. it’s something that could happen every day
I thought it was blah.
I wasn’t impressed either @Samantha.
why?
He seemed like he was trying too hard to be relevant, and there wasn’t a lot of ‘symbols’ for the symbolagist to work with

Mahmood, I didn’t love it either. The “presentation” is finally read and is quite interesting.

It is fantastic.
Go Packers. ❤ ?
Overall a good read…not his best, not his worst.
Quite enjoyed it but it is my least favourite of his.

And the Admiral was a rather clichèd religious figure, wasn’t he?
@Samantha he really was. I still enjoyed the book but it’s definitely not one of my favorites.
Winston was the best part of the book.
