I like the book. The Hulu version, meh.

Loved it and the show too
I don’t think the TV show and the book compare at all. They are two totally different entities. And I prefer the book.
I read it for the first time about a month ago and I still catch myself thinking about it. It’s a chilling novel and given the present political climate, quite telling. I felt too overwhelmed after reading it to watch the show. I thought perhaps after some time, I’d be ready to watch but I’m not there yet.
Yeah I am watching the show and first thing I think of is the commander and wife arent old. She looks older than them!
If I never read the book, then the show is okay. But I’m left with super analyzing everything.

Yes! And I guess I could watch the show and see what they do but it’s not the same as what the author thinks would happen to me!

I’ve read a different book from her I loved. I’m thinking of reading this one, watched one episode of hand maids tale on Hulu but just didn’t really care for it
