You don’t need to have read the book although I have). I took my daughter with me who hadn’t read it and she understood what was going on. The story is played out on stage and very good it is too.

Have read the book and have seen the play, quite a bit was chopped out of the play though but it was still really good so I would read the book as well. Enjoy

I have , amazing read , I could imagine the play will be similar. I love these kind of reads , but can seem to find any other books like it

Its a great book. Personally I find films a great disappointment after I have already read the book. Can’t comment on a stage play – last one I saw was in 1966.

I’ve got the book downloaded to read, just reading his stand alone ‘Absolute Proof’ at the moment. Um-ing and ah-ing as to whether to book for the play…

@Margaret Yes please do ? No I wouldn’t either – a couple of his Roy Grace books have been adapted for stage and I remember thinking the same. Shane Ritchie as Grace???? ?
