Who has read Dreamcatcher by Stephen King? I’ll admit I’ve never read any of his books before. I love the movies. Just never read any of his books.

@Silas is it good so far? I’m finishing up the House of Night series first. But someone gave me Dreamcatcher and was wondering if it was good. 🙂

I’ve enjoyed it so far. A lot of King fans hate it and call in too five worst SK books, but so far I’ve not felt that way.

I’m not a big King fan, but this is one I’ve read! I remember reading it and then a TV movie came out based on it. As is almost always true, the book was much better! I actually enjoyed this read.

Read it and enjoyed it. It’s not one of my top 10 King books, though.

I have read everything by King at least twice. I’m not sure if this is a good starting point. It was one of my least favorites.

I haven’t read Dreamcatcher but I recently read Needful Things and loved it. I’ve read a couple others of his, and loved them as well. I always mean to read more, bust still haven’t.

Now that’s one of his better books!

NT is great, with a sly humour you don’t often get with King.

I read it years ago, and enjoyed it. I remember not liking but not hating the movie, and just shrugging off the inconsistencies.

Dreamcatcher is one of King’s worst imo. Not as bad as Tommyknockers but getting there. IT, The Stand, The Shining, Salems Lot, The Dead Zone and dozens more are all way better. Just my opinion of course.
