Why?

I did. I wouldn’t have put Outlander ahead of Lord of the Rings.

@Dianne Her fans would! ?

Don’t get me wrong, I liked the first three Outlander books but then it just starte to feel like she was calling it in to make money.

@Dianne The 5th book is slow. But Diana is a very descriptive writer. I think with the success of her first 3 books, her publisher said Hey why not keep going and bid a contract for a few more.

I almost cried with joy! I’d voted for To Kill a Mockingbird several times — it’s been my favorite book since I first read it when I was ten years old, and I’ve read it 13 times since

The top 5 were not favorites of mine —granted I’m not a huge fan of Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings

I was floored when they said Mockingbird started at #1 and never moved! Very cool! I hope they do this again next year.

I loved that The Stand battled it out with Rebecca for its spot. I think King would like that.

I for one voted for Anne of Green Gables and was pleased it came in as high as it did. Was surprised that Harry Potter came in third

Not surprised To Kill a Mockingbird made the #1 spot.

Why do you hate it?

Tara

@Christian it was boring.

Diogo

@Tara you should consider the year that was wrote! It’s a good story, not the best!

Tara

I still don’t see it as a great story. Fine if others like it but just not my cup of tea.

Anna

I did and I was kind of ticked that some books placed lower than others but I was so glad To Kill A Mockingbird was the number one book

It’s a shame Harper Lee isn’t alive to see this result.
