Usually. I keep a basket of books beside the bed—the kinds of things you can just dip into at any point and read for a little while. I also have my Kindle there too.

I used to read before bed all the time! It was my favorite time and place to read. But, in the past couple years, I can’t seem to get past a couple pages when I read in bed, before falling asleep. It doesn’t matter how good the book is. I get so relaxed that I end up passing right out!?

Have you ever read just before slumber . . .and then in your sleep . . . you begin to dream you are a character in the story you were reading? It’s only happened once to me . . . the experience in the dream was much different than the story . . . but it was the story. I’ve rather thought I’d like that to occur again.

I try, but it always puts me to sleep. I used to be able to. Now, I read before I get out of bed.

I don’t have enough willpower to do that. I read instead of sleeping, no matter how sleepy I get. The only solution I have found is to listen to a novel I have already read–that way I am not dying to find out what happens next and can just relax and enjoy until I drift off to sleep.
