I am willing to read it from his point of view. I thought her writing was so bad when i was reading 50 Shades I couldn’t finish it. I hated the way she portrayed Anastasia in the first book. The only parts I enjoyed had him in it LOL.
I read it at 18 and blushed through the whole first book! Kept on going though. I recently reread it and I actually picked up on different things this go round, still amazing!
Not my kind of series. However that being said I can see why people like them they have a good plot without all the sex. If people wouldn’t criticize what other people reading and just should celebrate that they’re reading
Yes I do agree. I wasn’t trying too imply anything about you. I have just seen people who like too rip others apart for reading the books. I don’t like the books either. The smut really takes away from what could have been a good story line. @Barbara if I upset you I do apologize
@Stacey No, not offended……think we can and should critique the book itself with no aspersions cast on reader But, is criticizing Book doing that? To some it may be,but for years been critiquing books for my book club, as have others.
I’m not a fan – didn’t like the writing and *really* didn’t like the abuse hidden under an inaccurate betrayal of bdsm lifestyles. I’ve got a few friends in kink circles and they uniformly loathe it. But they’re incredibly popular, so clearly the author got something right. Each to their own! Although, I’ve read much better erotica.
Loved them. Definitely not the greatest writing or most original storyline but for what it is I really enjoyed the books. I read ‘Twilight’ in high school and ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ is the grown up books if you will. ? I personally prefer the story from Christians perspective and can’t wait to read ‘Darker’.
I liked the series??
I really enjoyed them!
Poorly written
I agree.
But I read it all the same, always hopping it would get better
I just finished it, i enjoyed x
It was on the top of my christmas list! So I couldn’t go buy it!!!!! ??? the suspense is killing me!
I do!

Her writing is very juvenile. Very poorly written.
Thank you! I thought so too.
Haha I expected this comment to be one yelling at me. Most people get so mad that I say that!!
Same here. I have read plenty of erotica and it was just not good…=D
Sleeping beauty series I felt was awesome. 🙂
Yes!!
@Heather first erotica I ever read!!! It’s pretty hard core but it was well written!!

Everyone has their own opinion. No yelling here! ?
Josie~Saw that one at work. (Work being a library) I meant to order a copy in for myself. Got busy & forgot
I loved them
Worst writing ever….just a gimmick that struck some chords with some women!
Didn’t think I would like the series but I really did! ? enjoy reading them xx
Me ?♀️
I liked the books personally and read Grey within two days but Darker I just can’t get into at all ?

But when asked what one thought of a particular book , I think honesty is the best policy

Makes sense. Sometimes people do want opinions before reading or spending money on a book
I enjoyed it! I took it for what it was. An entertainment and as such it was great!
I liked the first one haven’t read darker yet

Quite good series. Way better plot movement then the movies
Personally, it’s not my thing, but my mom enjoys it. I think people should just let other people enjoy books.
I absolutely loved them! Read all 3 books in 4 days lol
Read the first
Plot could of been taken farther with better writing.
The email stuff got old.
I skipped over a lot of it.
Sorry
