Ha! I wish it was cold here. I can say though we have a good breeze going on.
I’m under a blanket but its because I’m snuggling a kid who’s been throwing up for two hours this morning… with any luck she’ll calm down and I’ll get to read.
@Jessica never fun when a child is sick. Hope she feels better soon. Remember don’t give her cold drinks.
@Jennifer Me too, dont know what’s causing it, she was fine last night, seems out of the blue this morning. I haven’t heard about avoiding cold drinks? I can imagine the feeling of a cold drink hitting my stomach, does it have to do with the temperature on a stomach that’s been contracted and heaving, etc?
@Jessica yes it will make her throw up more.

@Jennifer that makes sense, it just never crossed my mind. Her current water is cool.. not cold. Filtered water from the fridge but no ice.
I honestly don’t even recommend water yet. You have sprite or coke? That helps the stomach. Once you know she’s done throwing up then you can go back to water.
@Jennifer Nope, no fever. Actually just saw her pulmonologist on Friday and was perfectly healthy at that time. Yesterday we stayed home all day, roasted hotdogs and marshmallows over the firepit.. leaning towards something about the smoke getting to her.. but usually it would go to be lungs not her stomach.
It’s all clear coming up. Shes got nothing in there to get out. But I do have some ginger ale I’ve been considering getting out.
So she ate something bad. It can take a while before your sick if it wasn’t severe . That’s good there’s no fever.
@Jessica that will help too. Looks like you need to settle the stomach. Just be careful what you feed her today. Baby step it.
@Jennifer Yeah, it’s just odd because all the rest of us ate the same things and are fine.. but we all have more mature stomachs than her.. ?
I’ll try some plain toast once she says she wants to try eating.
@Jessica hopefully she feels better soon. Sounds like she should be on the road to recovery now.
