@Rosalie me too but i’m not holding my breath. They will be finished eventually by someone so atleast we got something to look forward too. I haven’t found another fantasy epic i can get into as of yet.

Are you into faries or magic? I have some suggestions if you are

0
Natalie

You’re hopeful. We will never see the finished series. GRRM has lost all interest in this world now. The HBO series will have to serve as a finale to the books.

Aaron

@Rosalie I love A song of Ice and fire, The Lord of the Rings, The Dark Tower. Hated Shanara if that helps

0
Natalie

@Aaron if you like those you should try The First Law Trilogy by Joe Abercrombie, Nevernight Trilogy by Jay Kristoff, The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb and The Gentleman Bastard Series by Scott Lynch.

Natalie

Oh and for something truly epic try Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson.

Rosalie

@Aaron I was gonna suggest the throne of glass series, as well as the series of Sarah j maas books that starts with a court of thorns and roses… The mortal instruments books are good too

Darkdawn by Jay Kristoff the third and final instalment of the Nevernight Chronicles. One of the best fantasy series I’ve read in a long time. It’s out in September and I’m counting down the days.
