Silence of the Lambs was the first book to get me hooked on this genre?

Has anybody read Black Sunday?

Read it many years ago but can’t recall too much about it as too many books have passed through my hands. I thought “Red Dragon” was his best book as was the depiction of it in “Manhunter”.

Manhunter was a great film.
I hated Hannibal Rising. I’ve heard that he was forced into writing this book

Lambs is my favourite book. Red Dragon runs it close. Black Sunday was a good stand-alone thriller. I liked part of Hannibal, but his prose became too flowery for my liking. I’d like to forget Hannibal Rising.
