I love both but I feel like TOG is actually better. ACOTAR is awesome but TOG has better build up and the series isn’t done!

I prefer ACOTAR but started out reading TOG. I’d say TOG but keep in mind that it’s a lot “younger” than the rest of the series and gets progressively better ?

I love both series! I know that this is a long comment but I have so much to say. Throne of Glass and ACOTAR are my two favorite book series ever!
Throne of Glass was written and published first then ACOTAR followed after. Throne of Glass is plot-driven, adventurous, thrilling, empowering, heartfelt, emotional, political in some aspects, funny, and clever. ToG has romance but its more of a subplot. The foreshadowing, plot twists, and the characters are amazing! Throne of Glass has seven books:
0. The Assassin’s Blade. This is a prequel of novellas about the main character and her adventures before the events of the first book. The author, Sarah J. Maas, and I recommend reading The Assassin’s Blade before Throne of Glass. It’s one of the best books in the series, in my opinion. I think the easiest way to read the series to begin with The Assassin’s Blade.
1. Throne of Glass
2. Crown of Midnight
3. Heir of Fire
4. Queen of Shadows
5. Empire of Storms
6. Tower of Dawn (my favorite book in the series!) ?
7. Kingdom of Ash
(it will be published on October 23rd!)
A Court of Thorns and Roses has four books:
1. A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR)
2. A Court of Mist and Fury (ACOMAF)
3. A Court of Wings and Ruin (ACOWAR) (this book is my personal favorite! ?)
4. A Court of Frost and Starlight (ACOFAS). This book is a short follow up after the events of ACOWAR. It will be published on May 1, 2018. It’s longer than a novella but shorter than a novel. ACOFAS will bridge the first three novels to the future spin off novels set in the ACOTAR world. Like Throne of Glass, ACOTAR is adventurous, thrilling, exciting, emotional, uplifting and heartfelt. It also has amazing characters and world building. However, ACOTAR is much more romantic and descriptive than Throne of Glass. Personally, I enjoy the characters, the writing, and the world building more in ACOTAR. I think you should choose to read which series interests you more. Throne of Glass and ACOTAR are both equally amazing. I hope you enjoy each series and that this helps you decide! ☺️?

I’m on the acomaf… And I’m about 40 percent through, and getting irritated! I fell in love with the first set, with Tamlin. I don’t want the ending ruined, but it’s hard to switch up main players for me! I had the same hard adjustment in ToG, and ended up LOVING the change. I have to keep reminding myself that, and hoping this series is similar in that aspect. Does it get better??

What is OTPs?

@Erica OneTrue Pairing. As in you have a certain couple/pair to ship(root for) and it’s them for the rest of the series.
