@Larry I thought the movie. Just finished reading PS recently and heard it through audio too and honestly I was more scared from the movie than the book. Especially when the sister walks towards the screen. I felt SK rambled a bit more than he should have. But still an awesome read!! Definitely a recommendation to someone who is interested in a SK read.
I saw the movie first so, when I read the book, I “heard” it entirely in the voice of the actress who played Scout, Mary Badham. This is a VERY close 2nd for me.
Big Fish
The horse wisperer
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children
Pet Sematary
I can’t decide which was scarier, the book or the movie.
