Start with Outlander series.
By Diana Gabaldon, there are basically one to two ugly cries in each.
And then add the Lord John series in which he had to pull off the road to cry.
But you’ll laugh cry, get very angry, be shocked and appalled. This is the best series I have ever read.

U need to read a series so u can get more invested in the characters like the 7…8…maybe 9 books of defender with Cyrus Davidon OMG I laugh cried and death cried and at least teared up at the end of most of them only because I needed to wait for the next one
