I’m wanting to read this series but I’m unsure of the writing style/layout. Is it easy to get used to? It just looks all over the place to me.

Christian

Yes! infact, it’s really engaging. So easy to read too.

It’s pretty rare for me to read a book in a day, but some include:
The Burning Maze(Trials of Apollo #3) by Rick Riordan
Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead

A surprisingly large amount of titles in the LitRPG genre. I really thought most would be cheesy but there’s some great stories in there.

What do you recommend? I’ve just started, and have found some interesting ones

Michael

Ascend Online & Emerilia are two of my favorite series & you can’t go wrong with them. To be fair I listened to them on Audible but the stories were still great. What have you read already?

1
Neelma

Thanks. Those sound really interesting. I do prefer audiobooks, so that’s perfect for me.

I loved Morningwood (Everybody Loves Large Chests 1) by Neven Iliev. It’s a silly fun read. The fun part was the journey in trying to figure out who the protagonist was. I didn’t love the 2nd book as much.

I also liked Super Sales On Super Heroes by William D Arand. I loved the characters, but the story does seem to jump around.

These were all narrated by Jeff Hayes, who’s really good. SSOSH2 was narrated by Nick Podehl.

1
Michael

No problem! I really need to give Morningwood a listen to as everyone recommends it. Jeff Hayes & Nick Podehl are 2 of my favorite narrators. I also highly recommend Lions Quest by Michael-Scott Earle but you can only get the Audible versions, which is good since that’s what you prefer, until (if) Amazon reinstates his author account. Lions Quest is actually my favorite LitRPG so far.

1
Neelma

@Michael thanks for your recommendations. Litrpg is such a new genre that not many people are talking about it yet.

Neelma

Yeah, I found the Super Sales books thanks to Reddit. Picked up Morningwood just from the cover.

Currently reading “the Book Ninja” by Ali Berg and Michelle Kalaus. I started it midnight last night and only put it down when I could barely keep my eyes open, now only putting it down to eat something because I haven’t ate all day ? I think it’s become one of my favourite books. I got it as an eArc but planning to buy a physical copy to reread ?
