The books I remember. I am 76 and a life time reader. At 13 I read Grapes of Wrath; at 15, On the Beach; at 16, The Mystery of Easter Island, and Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights; at 18, The Tale of Two Cities, The Diary of Anne Frank. I have read hundreds of books, probably thousands. The ones that are the greatest are the ones I remember.

After the Bible, This Present Darkness, Piercing The Darkness and Prophet by Frank Peretti, and The Chronicles Of Narnia, and The Hobbit and The Two Towers (for some reason, I haven’t read the rest of The Lord Of The Rings series, but I intend to). And add Redeeming Love, by Francine Rivers.

I don’t understand anyone that can choose only one book, only one series, only one author, only one genre. It just sounds so limiting.

Such a hard decision to make! I’m more into classics. My favorite boys are Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer! I need to reread one of them after too many reads to see how different I feel. Don’t mind me, please! I have serious reading habits!
