The Bronze Horseman, it’s long but it’s one of those books that grips you from the first chapter so you won’t be bored.

Have you read Outlander? There are 7 books in the series. Books 1 and 2 are the best in my opinion. Book 1: Outlander. Book 2: Dragonfly in Amber. The author is Diana Gabaldon.

Year One, by Nora Roberts. I could hardly put it down once I started reading.
I always stock up on books for a train ride, but end up staring out the window the whole time!
Dreaming in Cuban by Cristina Garcia. It is short and relatively quick but really deep with a great story and really well developed characters.
