The Book of Broken Hearts was a total blah blah blah for me. Good thing, the 13 Little Blue Envelopes saved my misery on the 1st one. Finished both on the same day. 🙂
The colorado kid. Disagreeing with the author: there *is* a story there! They find a body, they search for a name and they reunite it with his wife. End of story. Do we need to know what happened? We can only guess. But what mattered most was: his wife had closure. He didn’t left her, he died. Basically, we know what we need to know.
Chaos by Patricia Cornwell. I loved her earlier works, I understand that she wants to keep on top of emerging technology, but don’t forget what brought you to the dance.
Finished Alice I Have Been. I’m still wondering about the book and it’s implications. It was very well researched. But I wonder about interpretation of history.
I finished The Gunslinger by King. I avoided this series because I hate westerns. I told a friend I was thinking about reading it, and he’s a big King fan. He told me he tried to read the series, but it was so strange, and hard to follow like American Gods. That’s all I needed, I loved American Gods. So I ordered The Gunslinger and loved it. I was mad at myself for only buying the one. So now I wait for the rest of the series to be delivered on my doorstep. I can’t wait!
I finished shame by jasvinder singhera. I want more. So good. I am currently reading another forgotten child by Cathy glass. I’m halfway through it and it’s so good. It’s sad but addicting
“Assassination Vacation” by Sarah Vowell. I felt travel lust.
Reckless By: Lex Martin! So many emotions lol! It was Soo good! All the feels!

The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. It was absolutely heartbreaking and beautiful. It made me eager for more Greek mythology
I’m looking forward to her new book, “Circe.”
Same here! I even preordered it
Everburn, eighty percent read, read ending because I’m struggling to finish it, don’t like the ending and way it’s heading
Dark Matter by Blake Crouch. This book released me from my reading slump.
Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan. Finally out of my reading slump. Must read the next one.

That is one fine read.
Half Broke Horses – Jeannette Walls; AMAZING book. If you’ve read The Glass Castle, it’s the background story of her grandmother. ❤️❤️

The last book I finished was The Last Mrs. Parrish and while I realize a lot of people love it, I wasn’t a big fan of it

I loved the Gunslinger! But some parts of the Drawing of the Three are real slow-going for me…
I’m reading the Drawing of the Three right now.
