Nothing. I’m happy that I’ve read and remember all the books that I do.
I am a HUGE rereaders and I love rereading for a completely different reason than I love reading books for the first time. Rereading is a truly magical experience BECAUSE you know what’s coming next. When you reread you get to connect dots that you didn’t see before and notice little things that didn’t seem to matter the first time around. Reading books for the first time is very magical, but rereading is priceless.

If a book is sad, every time I re-read it, I hope for a better ending. Also, plot twists can make me so excited if it was the first time I read that book. Am I weird? ?

It’s been so long since I read the Barbed Coil I almost forget it already lol. But I know I’ll recall things along the way and that book was amazing the first time.

Thr3e is a great book, and it’s one of the few that kept me on my toes until the very end. So good.

A bit of a swerve here, but:

I wish I could erase all memory of the Sweet Valley Confidential books. … No, I don’t want to reread them and get all the horrible surprises again. I hated those books. ?

Yes. I had been reading all the Sweet Valley books since 1986… and Francine Pascal pretty much gave me a big middle finger with the “10 Years Later” books.

So she disappointed you. I’m so sorry. I love her Sweet Valley high books. Those were incredible.

I’ve never fancied discworld. What is it about them that you love so much? Maybe I should give the 1st a try!

1
Misha

Disc world can take a little getting use to …It can be a bit bizzare at times … I would personally recommend Guards! Guards! to start with ..That’s the 8th book in the series … I think you might enjoy reading that one ?
