I’ve read quite a lot, but I would say the Virals series by Kathy Reich?

Explain please

Prisca

OK, it’s actually for teens because I’m 15 but adults also enjoy reading it.
So the story is about a girl who moved on an Island with her dad-who she’s never met before, due to her mother’s death. Her aunt is the great Tempe Brennan (a well known forensic anthropologist) who she admires so much. She is also gifted with the talent of solving mysterious crime. So the story is basically about a girl(she’s a tomboy)who solves crime on the small Island with her friends(which are 4 boys). The story is cool.

(I’m not such a great story teller??So this might sound a little boring but I recommend you the book)???

1
Prisca

Oh..Kathy Reich also has books for grown ups which is the “Tempe Brennan series” .They’re also great books???

Would you agree with those who call Huck Finn the “quintessential” novel of US literature?

Will we ever know what was chasing Eleanor & Theo? Sometimes I want to know, then I think, just leave it to my imagination x

1
Paula

Every time I read that I get chills

1
Paula

@Paula me too, it’s the idea of it, it was done so well in the original movie because it was so dark & Eleanor & Theo are freaking out all over the place, I would be the same x

1
Paula

Absolutely. If we knew what it actually was later on it would definitely lose something

Doctor Who in an Exciting Adventure with the Daleks by David Whitaker (later retitled Doctor Who and the Daleks). It is a novelisation of the first Dalek story but since it was the first Doctor Who book written it has a completely new beginning (and indeed completely different from the actual first story). The story is told from the POV of Ian Chesterton and there are a number of deviations from the televised story.
