I have no idea. Two ladies are doing a girls night through Skype one is in Cincinatti, one in Chicago. One steps away from the computer to go check on her kids and the other sees a man walk in with a mask on and calls the police. Her friend never calls her back, just sends a text that everything is okay, she hops in the car and drives all night from Chicago to Cincinatti, all for her friend to act like nothing happened. WTF!?!?!?!?
Just got done reading a biography about Janis Joplin, written by her sister, which, incidentally, you can get free on kindle right now. Anyway, I got depressed. Isn’t is strange how you can love someone so much that you can still feel like crying after they’ve been dead for 50 years. I think that was the saddest part is realizing she’d been gone that long, fading into obscurity.
I just finished Susan Fletcher – the glass house, not as good as Corrag I must say but an intriguing storyline. Of course I have also been reading Mary Oliver, May she Rest In Peace.
Riina Luttinen You could try Banana Yoshimoto(Kitchen) , Yoko Ogawa , Natsuo Kirino(Read a thriller called ‘Out’: Mindblowing) , Kanae Minato, Hiro Arikawa (The traveling cat Chronicles), Sayaka Murata (Convenience store woman). Keigo Higashino for thrillers. Ryu Murakami for surreal but darker shades of surrealism.
Debbie Armenta ‘The Things We Learn When We’re Dead’ by Charlie Laidlaw?I have mixed feelings about it Debbie plus underwear from Marks & Spencers aren’t that great!☺️
