I want to go to a bookstore near me where I can trade books in. I just never seem to get that way. I recently used Thrift Books, and I’m quite happy!

@Kayleigh, ditch the spring cleaning and get out to Pierce’s today! 😀

I get my used books mainly from our Friends of the Library Sale, our elementary school’s PTO fundraiser used book sale, and Pierce’s (local used book store). I’ve purchased once from Abe’s online. I found quickly that I prefer browsing an actual store/sale over attempting to browse online.

Library sales mostly (all of our local libraries have perpetual sales), thrift stores, Amazon, and Better World Books.

Oh, and library sales. I go the last day, when it’s usually $5/bag. Even if I don’t get much, or exactly what I was looking for… it’s worth it!

Where do you go for that @Kayleigh?

Bangor has one at the Beehive in May, and at the Blue Valley Farm Show in July. Stroudsburg has one, I’m not sure when. I’ve only recently started scouting beyond Bangor, lol! @Lauren found one at Nazareth library, but we didn’t make it.

I bought some at Better World Books and was disappointed by the quality despite them all being in “Good” or “Excellent” condition. I may not have bought them for that price if I didn’t think they were in good condition.

Mostly Books Bookstore and Bookman’s Used bookstore in Tucson, and library sales. Sometimes on Amazon and yard and estate sales.

I go to a small used bookstore near me where I can trade books in, also go to the Salvation Army and my library’s books for sale cart.
