I have to admit, most of mine come from Amazon….I would love to buy from independent stores or brick and mortar but cannot afford them there…I buy hundreds of books a year?

Used bookstores, the library sale or Amazon usually. Though the occasional trip to B&N is not out of the ordinary either.

My latest trip, I bought from my local indie. Decided it was finally time to get a readable copy of the first book in a series, and a copy of a favorite to keep nice so I can annotate in another. Also bought a couple others and some origami papers, so I can try making some corner bookmarks.

Thrift stores. Giving old books a new home. Plus it’s like a treasure hunt bc they are so bad at sorting them

3 large thrift shops within 5 miles of my house that have a good size area for books and a fairly quick turnover of goods .

Online, typically. I’m increasingly disinterested in best sellers and likewise don’t want cheap copies of the classics.

Online, charity shops, Waterstones. My brother in law and I also exchange a lot of books. Him and my sister are coming down to Brighton this weekend for Pride and his birthday celebrations and I can’t wait to see what he brings me!

Catalogs from Edward R. Hamilton Bookseller Co. I live way, way out in the country and use the library a lot, but get snowed in during winter and am 80 miles from a bookstore.
