@Krystin It focuses on thinking big. The main lesson of the book is to set goals which are 10x of what you currently believe, you are capable of achieving.

It uses the Meyers-Briggs personality typing system to help you think of careers that fit you. They also take into account the changes we go through as we age, which may mean you want a career change at some point.

Please Understand Me–Kiersy & Bates.
There’s a short version of the BM test and detailed explorations of the 16 types, including how they behave in the workplace. Essential reading.

Moneyball by Michael Lewis.
It’s about the transformation of the poorest team in Baseball to one of the best teams in baseball. It’s a good lesson in how entrenched attitudes slow progress.

Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can’t Stop Talking

Finally, reading good books, being informed, being educated in history and psychology, religions, science, literature, the arts. That’s true self development, and it never stops as long as you live.

Here I come again. You need to read the book I’m reading now. Everybody who wants to do anything needs to read it.
Wynton Marsalis, To a Young Jazz Musician: Letters from the Road.
Me, I know zip about jazz except what’s in Ken Burns’s documentary. Marsalis is in that. I loved the way he talked. I gave his book a try.
Perfect for everybody. This means you.
